LANGUAGE - THIRD EDITION (TACL-3)
The TACL-3 measures the receptive vocabulary, grammar and syntax of children. The test consists of 142 items divided into three subtests that assess a child’s ability to understand spoken vocabulary, grammatical morphemes, and elaborated phrases and sentences. The subtests are hierarchically arranged. Each picture plate has three full-color drawings. The subject chooses the one that best represents the word, phrase or sentence spoken by the examiner. The foils contrast either semantically or grammatically. Ages: 3 though 9-11
